Law Firm Proof Reader Rows Across Atlantic Ocean

Rowed from Canari Islands to Antigua. What a nuts story. It took him 72 days, but he did it. The fact that he just woke up one day and decided to break out a row boat and get the trekking is quite impressive.

I can imagine his back muscles are much better looking than mine.

New Plant Will Boost Your Energy Level, Emotional Well Being, and Mental Clarity

Image:Rhodiola rosea a2.jpg

Rhodiola Rosea is a natural plant that comes from the Artic regions and has been known to noticeably increase energy levels, physical endurance, and emotional well being. Some people have been using this to promote better mental health, but in a nutshell, it is the Gingko Biloba / St. John’s Wort on steroids. It has been known to increase your natural adaptability against a but of stressors, regardless if they are physical, chemical, or biological. For the most part the natural drug helps to promote your mental clarity and physical  well being.

There have been several tests on the drug and all have been positive.

Scientific classification

Kingdom: Plantae
Division: Magnoliophyta
Class: Magnoliopsida
Order: Saxifragales
Family: Crassulaceae
Genus: Rhodiola
Species: R. rosea

Uses of Rhodiola rosea

Rhodiola rosea is effective for improving mood and alleviating depression. Russian research shows that it improves both physical and mental performance, reduces fatigue, and prevents high-altitude sickness. In one study, the Rhodiola rosea group decreased proofreading errors by 88% while the control group increased proofreading errors by 84%. Rhodiola rosea’s effects are attributed to its ability to optimise serotonin and dopamine levels, due to monoamine oxidase inhibition and to its influence on opioid peptides such as beta-endorphins.
Substances like these are referred to as adaptogens. They differ from stimulants, and do not have the same health consequences as nicotine, etc.

In Russia, Rhodiola rosea, also known as golden root, has been used for centuries to cope with the cold Siberian climate and stressful life. It has also been used for centuries in Scandinavia, both by the Vikings and the Sámi. Note that Rhodiola is sometimes inappropriately referred to as "Arctic Root®", which is a trademark product name held by the Swedish Herbal Institute for an extract SHR-5 which contains unique Rhodiola rosea extracts tested in human clinical trials. Publication of a double-blind, placebo controlled clinical trial shows a significant effect for SHR-5 Rhodiola extract in cases of mild-to-moderate depression.

It is used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it is called hóng jǐng tiān (红景天).

Active ingredients
Dried Rhodiola rosea root
Dried Rhodiola rosea root

Rhodiola rosea has some compounds which are not found in other Rhodiola species. These are:

* Rosavin (C20H28O10)
* Rosarin (C19H26O10)
* Rosin (C15H20O6)

Note that the word rosavins can be used to include rosavin, rosarin, and rosin. Also, the word Rosavin is a brand name.

Rosavin, rosarin, rosin and salidroside (and sometimes p-tyrosol, rhodioniside, rhodiolin and rosiridin) are considered the active ingredients of Rhodiola rosea.

Dosage

Rhodiola rosea extract is mainly used in the form of capsules. These capsules usually contain 100 mg of a standardized amount of 3 percent rosavins and 0.8-1 percent salidroside because the naturally occurring ratio of these compounds in Rhodiola rosea root is approximately 3:1.

A typical dosage is one or two capsules daily; one in the morning and when taking two capsules one in the early afternoon. Rhodiola rosea should be taken early in the day because it can interfere with sleep. If a user becomes overly activated, jittery or agitated then a smaller dose with very gradual increases may be needed. It is contraindicated in excited states.

The dose may be increased to 200 mg three times a day if needed. A high dose is considered to be daily intakes of 1,000 mg and above.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather Stops The Big Show at WWE XXIV

So Floyd can continue to talk trash and get away with it. Not only has he kicked the crap out of everyone he ever boxed, but he also beat up a 7 foot, 441lb wrestler. Mayweather weighs a measly 159lbs. Big Show is the biggest athlete in the history or sports. It all started when The Big Show was picking on Floyd’s homeboy Ray Mysterio.

The purse: $20M greenbacks for "Money" Mayweather. A nice king’s ransom. This has gotten quite a bit of publicity; Larry King, Conan O’Brian, WWE, and just news all around the net.

Floyd promised he would break The Big Show’s jaw, Big Show promised to take him out in 2 minutes. You view it yourself.

Youtube took down the video due to WWE complaining. I don’t see the big issue. It’s not like we won’t just go and get it off of a torrent site or something.

Another guy from Chicago. Add-2. he’s got his own creative style, not talking about poppin off guns, and definitely delivers. He should get picked up soon. Peep his EP below. I wonder if he has anything more interesting to say with regards to politics than Lupe Fiasco.

Give him a shout or two on his space: http://www.myspace.com/add2

Unfortunately one of his best records was missing from this player, so peep the individual track on his space.

Beyonce Knowles

You must have been living under a rock, buried under 10 feet of dirt in an underground cave if you have never heard or seen Beyonce Knowles. While she is currently married to Jay-Z; which I hope doesn’t last long, she has been on the music scene for quite some time. Beyonce did not make her claim to fame by looks. She can actually sing, dance, and act. Enjoy.

Nelly – Brass Knuckles

Nelly is going to drop out on June 24th, 2008.

Beset by long delays, Nelly’s next studio album is back on the Universal schedule for June 24. First single “Party People” featuring Fergie is already gaining radio airplay well before its May 15 add date.
The album’s “Wadsyaname” appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 way back in September, debuting at a career-best No. 43. The rapper, who is fond of creative spellings, has four No. 1s and 12 top 10s to his credit.
And although the track list is still coming together, Nelly has logged time with a host of major names for the album, including Ciara, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Akon and LL Cool J.

“Brass Knuckles” is the follow-up to Nelly’s simultaneously released 2004 albums “Sweat” and “Suit,” which have sold a combined 4.4 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. [Via: Billboard]

Day26 – Got Me Going

Diddy’s group has another video out.

Lil Wayne – Tha Carter III

May 13th, 2008, Lil Wayne will bless us with his third album. Too bad he didn’t choose a title drastically different than the first two. His second album Tha Carter II his 1.3M sales according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Wayne says this album will tout stars such as Hurricane Chris, Corey Gunz, Tyga, Jibbs, and Lil Mama (not too impressed with the lineup). Kanye West will do some mixing on the album which seems like that will almost immediately boost sales.

Warren G – Mr. President

Kanye West Get’s Sued for Beat Jacking

You could’ve known this was going to happen at some point or another. Kanye West, known for saying, "Don’t ever give me a record I can’t sample". Real musicians call him the sample king. He has literally built his career off of taking great songs, sampling them, and making greater beats. I commend his efforts; however, Mr. West, please pay your dues.

He is being sued for allegedly sampling the 1985 song, "Good Life".  D’Mystro filed the suit on March 20th, 2008 and said, "he didn’t obtain a license to use" works from his volume of songs. He seeks 85% of all universe sales of the song. We all know why he waited this long right? Hmmm. Longer for the song to rotate, more he could potentially make. If he wins this lawsuit, he will walk away with king’s ransom. Apparently he feels that Kanye’s rendition of the song hurts the reputation of the song that D’Mystro put out years ago.

Gucci Mane Gets "In" With Buffie the Body

Wow! First off Buffie the Body is fine as hell. But on the real, they are straight country ass people. Straight classless. Apparently Gucci copped this Benz for Buffie. I guess he really wants in that ass.

I couldn’t expect more from Gucci, but when you see people like Buffie the Body on XXL mags, most people would expect more from her. Maybe some class, not a country talk, and probably better dressed.

LA Times Report on Diddy Knowing About Tupac Hit is BS

All of that info a few weeks ago linking Diddy to the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur is all bologna. The article written by Pulitzer Prise winner Chuck Phillips. The information regarding the FBI reports was all phoney and was presented by James Sabatino.

Did they actually think people would not investigate this further?

Diddy was outraged and if you didn’t notice earlier, I reported on him being terrified for his life based on thoughts that LA gangs would definitely come after him. For those living in caves, Tupac is a revered hip hop artist, and if the public does find out who killed him, there will be hell to pay.

Re-Up Gang Freestyle

The Clipse Re-Up Gang popped off on a freestyle on Greg Street’s radio show. This shit sucks, except for The Clipse

Max B Gets Clipped

Max B got popped the other day. Somebody ran up on him on March 27th, 2008 and shot him. He’s all good though. It was a graze. Could it be for street credit? Is he following 50, or is he just letting us all know that no matter what, he will stay chilling in the hood making himself a target to hungry thugs? No matter what, my take, get up outta the hood. Follow Juelz Santana’s example and move to Jersey or something.

Mos Def Plays Chuck Berry in New Movie

DNA Paternity Tests in Drug Stores

Better be careful who you say ain’t your child now. As opposed to women having to spend a king’s ransom to find out if that dead beat is her "baby daddy", now she can cough up $30 and get 99% accuracy. The tests are now sold at Rite-Aid, along with other pharmacies.

I bet some of you dead beat pump, dump, and bounce dudes are sweating and in their boots. Read the article

Dollar Signs In Double Helixes

Firm Brings Genetic Testing to the Masses

(Bigstockphoto.com)

For years, women have been able to go to the drugstore to answer a question: pregnant or not? Now science has taken testing a step further, and those same drugstore shelves are stocking kits to answer another, equally pressing question: daddy or not?

The Identigene DNA paternity test was rolled out at Rite Aid stores across the country this month and sells for $29.99 — plus $119.99 for laboratory processing. Identigene promises results in three to five days that are at least 99 percent accurate.

"This test really is about providing peace of mind, answering questions of paternity for people who simply want to know," said Douglas Fogg, chief operating officer for Identigene, which is based in Salt Lake City.

Although Identigene’s product is the first kit to be sold in stores, at-home paternity tests have been available online for several years. The kits are just one more example of what some are calling the democratization of DNA. As the cost of decoding and analyzing our genes plummets, companies are even starting to offer "personalized genomics" tests to consumers that promise to help them discover what diseases they are likely to get or even who their soul mate might be.

Rite Aid started selling the paternity tests on the West Coast in November, the first time such a kit had been sold in a retail store. Fogg said his company sold 10,000 kits to the chain in three months. Ashley Flower, a Rite Aid spokeswoman, declined to comment on the product other than to confirm its existence.

"It’s just another product we’re able to offer our customers," she said. "We always do try to be first to market with innovative health-care services."

The testing kits are also available at Meijer stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. Rite Aid has 5,000 stores in 31 states and the District. The kits are not available in New York . CVS said it plans to begin carrying the kits soon on its Web site and in stores. DNA paternity-testing kits have generally ranged from $400 to $2,000, according to the American Pregnancy Association, a nonprofit group. Identigene was able to lower the price on its kit because of the anticipated volume of sales, Fogg said.

The company has performed paternity tests for government agencies and family law practices for more than 15 years. About 10 years ago, it began selling DNA collection kits online directly to users. The idea to sell in stores came up about a year ago, when company executives realized that they were missing customers who had no access to the Internet or were uncomfortable entering their personal information online.

Consumer sales now account for about half of Identigene’s business, Fogg said. As in most paternity tests, users must submit samples of DNA in the form of cheek swabs from the mother, child and purported father, to a laboratory for examination. Technicians analyze 16 locations on the chromosomes for each participant and assign a numeric value to each. The child’s DNA should contain half of the mother’s and half of the father’s. Negative readings are 100 percent conclusive, while positive readings are 99 percent accurate, Fogg said.

But while the reading may be accurate, don’t expect it to hold up in a court. Legal paternity tests require a third party to verify that the participants are who they say they are and that the samples were not tampered with, among other things. The lab analysis is the same for legal and retail tests, Fogg said. Identigene sells legal paternity tests online for $399. Prenatal paternity tests are available for $449, and results take up to four weeks.

Still, John F. Banzhaf III, professor of public-interest law at George Washington University, said such tests are likely to be most useful in avoiding a trial rather than during one. Consumers should not think they can submit their DNA samples to Identigene and get "a certificate of some sort and wave it around in court," he said.

"The idea here is to give you a probably very, very accurate test initially, which might then eliminate the need for a court proceeding," Banzhaf said.

The American Pregnancy Association said that about 3 percent of the 40,000 calls to its help line each year are related to questions of paternity — from women unsure of the father of their child, men wanting to know if they are fathers and adults wondering who their parents may really be. President Brad Imler said it is crucial for users of the kits to be mentally prepared for the answers.

"If they are not connected to professionals when receiving those results, it can be devastating and can certainly stir up disturbing emotions," he said.

But sometimes, curiosity must be sated. Identigene’s slogan is "For questions only DNA testing can answer."

"This is certainly an inexpensive first step that can be taken," Fogg said. [Via: Washington Post]

Masta Ace Forms a New Group Called EMC

Masta Ace is going to bless us with some new albums. Instead of doing his dirt on dolo efforts, he’s got a new group called EMC. The group consists of Punchline, Wordsworth, Masta Ace, and Stricklin. T.I. Goes to Prison Too

TI

All of these rappers, politicians, celebrities… They’re not above the law and the law is letting us all know. They will not take shit. T.I. will do a 1 year bid in prison, a $100k fine, and 1,500 hours of community service. Clifford Harris Jr. should start his stint on March 27th, 2009 (just enough time to make Free T.I. shirts and drop an album) and could get off on good behavior (2 months off). If he fails to make peace in prison, he could be doing the whole bid consisting of 57 months. That’s 2 years and 9 months. Whoa!

T.I. is a convicted felon, and the reason why he is going to prison is for possession of machine guns and silencers. I don’t think he really cared that he couldn’t have machine guns around. Is it that all of these guys think that they actually have to live like they rap? If that is what they want to do, then they are going to have to hit up the cell block too!

Remy Ma and Papoose Getting Married

Lol. This has gotta be some joke. Is Papoose serious. Remy Ma might get up to 25 years in the slammer. Will Papoose be asking Remy about the "boom-boom" trailer. First of all, Papoose is an aspiring actor who got somewhat of a buzz despite his voice which many people say is annoying, now he’s going to have to defend himself from rappers he is in conflict with, regarding getting married, getting married to Remy Ma, and getting married to a woman about to hit the cell block.

Career suicide if you ask me. Someone please tell Papoose he needs to change up his publicist immediately.

Now all we need are these "Free Remy Ma" shirts to follow along with all of these other rappers going behind bars. You know who started it right? G-G-G-G-Unit!

XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Can Merge – Wouldn’t Be a Monopoly

xm-siri

The cat is outta the bag, and the stock market has shown what the news can do to the value of a stop. XM had the most in percentage increase on March 24th 2008, with an increase of 15.49%. At $13.79 a share, it is too late to get a 15% return on your money. I feel it is risky for any investor to jump in thinking they can make a quick buck. XM and Sirius have huge competition against free radio, HD radio, MP3′s, iPods, and all sorts of other media. If you think that satellite radio with a paid subscription is the wave of the future, then ask yourself, how many people can you count that have satellite radio? I bet it is not that many. I think the marketing could use a boost, but more importantly, the price needs to come down. When things are free and pirating is not hard to do, a paid subscription is not a viable option for people.

50 Cent and DJ Drama are Taking it to the Durty South With New Mixtape

DJ Dram, 50 centGangsta Grillz mixtape? 50 and Drama swear this is going to be one of the hottest mixtapes ever. I want to hear what these guys can come up with, trying to tread on another one’s turf. I can promise you this, there will be tons of help and attention from Young Buck. The southern native has nothing but skills to offer for this type of mixtape. I guess DJ Whoo Kid does not have what it takes. Lol

DJ Drama promises that it will be one of the biggest mixtapes of the year. Arguably the top DJ in the mixtape field is teaming up with arguably the most renowned crew in the underground circuit. The first-ever G-Unit Gangsta Grillz is about to go into production.

“A couple of days after G-Unit dropped their Elephant in the Sand mixtape [two weeks ago], I got the call from 50 [Cent] and he was like, ‘Drama, what up? It’s time to do this G-Unit/ Aphilliates Gangsta Grillz.’ He’s really going heavy on the ThisIs50.com Web site, and he was saying basically it’s time to get G-Unit hot in the South. What better way to do that than to do a Gangsta Grillz? Not only from a South aspect but from a quality street-music aspect. Me and Whoo Kid talked the other day, Fif and G-Unit are getting songs together, [my artists] Willie Da Kid and La Da Darkman are getting some songs together. I reached out to the King and told him it’s a special project; I need him to get busy. We’re gonna go in.”

“The King” Drama is referring to is, of course, none other than the King of the South, T.I. Drama said he’s also reached out to a slew of his other friends from the South and told them to get their best material ready. Fif’s DJ, Whoo Kid, will also be heavily involved in putting the project together.

“Look out for some skits,” Drama said. “Whoo Kid is a jokester. I’mma bring some personality to the table. We’re gonna have fun with it. Let the mixtape game come back to life. It’s been over a year since the historical [RIAA] raid, and the mixtape game is still here. That’s what we’re out to prove. 50 is a monster in the game, I’m a monster in the game. The combination is gonna kill the streets.”

Drama just released the mixtape The Notorious L.A.D. from La the Darkman, while 50 and the Unit have been on a rampage for the past six months with Sabrina’s Baby Boy, Return of the Body Snatchers and Elephant in the Sand.

“He’s still working like he’s hungry and putting product out every day,” Dram said of Fif. “You can’t take it as nothing but motivation.”

Drama said the G-Unit Gangsta Grillz should be out in early to mid-April and available for free download on ThisIs50.com and GangstaGrillz.com. [Via: MTV]

P. Diddy Scared for His Life: Recent Tupac Hit Findings

It looks like Diddy is running scared. At some point money doesn’t matter, unless you move out of harms way. According to ThisIs50.com, LipServicesRadio.com has some inside information from Diddy’s security team stating that he is shook from LA gangs, and fears for his life. I am not sure the validity of this, as I checked LipServiceRadio.com and did not pull up any results on this. Could this type of information posted on 50 Cent’s ThisIs50.com discredit him; or does he get information through the grapevine? Well my friends, I don’t know.

It seems logical that Diddy would he shook as we know how devoted people are to Tupac as well as finding his killers. Tupac has a much bigger following that Biggie did and does. Nevertheless, the info:

LipServiceRadio.com has learned that since the Los Angeles Times’ recent article suggesting that Diddy was involved in Tupac’s shooting, the hip hop mogul has been in fear for his life. A person close to Diddy explained, “His security team doesn’t feel that it’s wise for him to make too many public appearances until this all blows over.” And it couldn’t happen at a worse time for Diddy. The insider tells LipServiceRadio.com, “He should be out promoting Danity Kane’s new release, but instead he has to be worried about all this.” The insider continued, “This is costing him money … He’s [likely] going to have to take the L.A. Times to court over this.” YOU DECIDE RE-LIVE THAT NIGHT: This is about the shooting which occurred in 1994 at a Times Square recording studio. This was never fully explained, even by Tupac, but police ruled it a robbery attempt of Tupac’s thousands of dollars in gold. There are still many questions which need to be answered especially concerning the beef between Tupac and Bad Boy records since Tupac claimed they set the 1994 shooting up. The following story reports everything which I have learned about the shooting. My sources are very credible but keep in mind that I have no hard evidence to back up my claims. Please feel free to judge for yourself whether what I say makes sense or not. First we must go back to November 30th, 1994. At 12:20 a.m., Tupac and his entourage of three men, including “Stretch” Walker of the Live Squad who was a close friend and his manager Freddie Moore, enter the building. One black male sits on a desk in the entranceway of the office building where the Quad is located. The man gets up from the desk as two other men walk through the door. Little Caeser had yelled down to Tupac’s crew from the top of the recording studio so Tupac knew Biggie was there and felt safe thinking that these men were his security. The three men start to follow Tupac’s entourage until they get to the elevators. It is at this point that they draw their guns and yell, “Give up the jewelry, and get on the floor!” Tupac’s entourage quickly get on the floor but Tupac curses the gunmen and goes for one of the guns. In the struggle, Tupac is shot five times while his manager is hit once. The robbers then get off with $40,000 in jewelry. Moore gives chase to the robbers but collapses next door. Tupac is dragged into the elevator and taken upstairs where there are several well known individuals including Biggie Smalls and Sean “Puffy” Combs. Tupac would later describe the scene as very strange. He said that nobody even got up to help him but only stared at him as if they were surprised he was alive. Tupac said that the only person showing any emotion was Little Shawn who was crying. Later Tupac would mimic this scene in a rare video in which he walks from the elevator covered with blood as Biggie begs for his life blaming Puffy for the set up. This was perhaps Tupac’s way of getting the truth to his fans. As he lay riddled with bullets, Tupac reportedly had someone roll him a joint and then he made a call to his girlfriend who called his mother and then he called 911. Officers arrived on the scene soon after the call was placed. When officers arrived, Tupac was greeted by the same officers which had arrested and testified against him in the sexual assault trial. This would lead many to believe that the police may have had something to do with it or the rape victim was seeking revenge but these would apparently turn out to be false accusations. Tupac had been shot five times throughout his body including two shots to the head. Miraculously he survived and was loaded into the ambulance where one of the greatest pictures of him ever was taken. Covered in blood and bandages, he flips the photographer off. He is rushed to the Bellevue trauma department where he is rushed into surgery. To everyone’s surprise, Tupac later checks out less than three hours after his surgery claiming that he fears for his life. The next day, Tupac makes a surprise appearance in a Manhattan courtroom in anticipation of the verdict in his sexual assault trial. He is surrounded by Nation of Islam bodyguards and is in a wheelchair (as pictured). Although the verdict comes back guilty of a lesser offense, Tupac is rallied around by friends Jasmine Guy and Mickey Rourke. He remained free on $25,000 bail. Soon after he was sentenced to serve time on Riker’s Island. Very little happened while he was in prison although he would reveal later that people in prison were telling him that it was Biggie’s boy who shot him. Tupac’s cousin even witnessed the shooters bragging that they had just shot him. These details were revealed by Tupac in one of his last interviews with KMEL. Almost one year later, Tupac was freed on bail pending appeal by Marion “Suge” Knight of Death Row records in exchange for a three album deal with Death Row. As soon as Tupac got to California, Tabitha Soren of MTV met with him for an interview. In that interview, Tupac looked deeply troubled when asked about the shooting as if he were scared to give too many details to the public out of fear for another attempt on his life. His confidence seemed to build up after that interview as he went on to point the finger at Bad Boy records as being responsible for the shooting. Puffy would later say that they had nothing to do with the shooting and that Tupac knew who shot him. It seems obvious that it was an inside job based on the fact that the robbers knew where he would be. Also, the robbers went right after Tupac rather than deal with Stretch who was much bigger. Tupac would later have a falling out with Stretch as Stretch became close with Bad Boy and had possibly known of the setup. Stretch was later found murdered execution style in Jamaica, Queens (NYC) exactly one year to the day after Tupac was shot in New York. Is that just another coincidence? I have heard that Stretch had been warned that his life was in danger, but he disregarded these warnings. Tupac tells a lot of things in the song “Against All Odds” on the Makaveli album. When he says: “And that nigga that was down with me/ Restin’ dead/ Switched sides, guess his new friends wanted him dead/ Probably was murdered for the shit that I said” …he is talking about Stretch. When he says: “Puffy’s gettin’ robbed like a bitch/ To hide that fact, he did some shit he shouldn’t did/ So now he’s ridin’ for that” …he is talking about Puffy being involved in the set up and being robbed by the financers of Bad Boy. Perhaps he wasn’t robbed as much if he helped set Tupac up. That would explain Puffy being more involved while Biggie just knew about the set up. There is another part of the song which possibly relates to the set up. When he says: “And did I mention/ Promised a payback, Jimmy Henchman/ In due time/ I knew you bitch niggas was listening/ The world is mine/ Set me up/ Wet me up/ Niggas stuck me up/ Heard the guns bust/ But you tricks never shut me up” …. he could either be implicating Henchmen Management/Entertainment in the shooting or the verse is split and he is just talking about another beef he had with them. Interpret how you want, but Tupac was telling the truth when he said “This be the realest shit I ever wrote.” All signs pointed to Bad Boy at least knowing before hand of the shooting. Tupac never said Bad Boy was directly responsible, only that they “set him up.” He would later say that he had met the shooter because he was a friend of Biggie’s and Biggie had warned Tupac not to mess with him. When Tupac said that Bad Boy “set him up”, he meant that they didn’t warn him of the coming attack and possibly provided info about his location that night. Tupac had also said that he kept getting calls asking why he wasn’t at the studio yet because he was delayed an hour trying to get some weed. Why would Bad Boy have been so concerned about getting him to the studio that late? It seems very obvious they were in on it. Now, that all the details are laid out, the new question becomes what was the motive if it wasn’t just a routine robbery? This question must be asked because why would Bad Boy set Tupac up for a $40,000 robbery by common thieves. That wouldn’t make sense at all since they were all friends at the time. There was a more powerful party at work here, not just common thieves, who were powerful enough to force Puffy and Biggie to cooperate out of fear. This is where things get really interesting. The story is that Tupac was shot because of some dealings with some shady people in New York known as the “Black Mafia.” These people, it is rumored, financed Bad Boy records. Tupac met some of these people in New York, including the mysterious Trevor aka King Tut who later admitted to some undercover cops that he had been involved in the shooting and it was because Tupac “needed to be disciplined.” Who paid for Tut’s legal bills? None other than Puffy who still denies it. It is said that these “Black Mafia” characters demanded that Tupac sign on to Bad Boy records since Bad Boy still really wasn’t on the scene and needed an artist like Tupac but Tupac refused the demands. Tupac was supposed to die that night. This was punishment for saying no. If you remember Tupac, in his first interview after being shot, said in Vibe that people were trying to kill him. These were those people. That is another reason why Tupac went to Death Row, because Suge could provide the protection he needed. Puffy played the real role in this shooting, although Biggie knew about it. Puffy didn’t order the shooting, he however, helped set up Tupac. Also, if you recall, Tupac never said Puffy did it, he said he was set up by Puffy. There is also another possibility behind the motive of the shooting which is different from punishing Tupac for not signing with Bad Boy. After the rape case started, Tupac blamed Jacques Agnant a.k.a. Haitain Jack for setting him up in the trial. This was suspicious because Tupac got the absolute maximum penalty for the charges he was found guilty of while Agnant received like 3 months suspended sentence and he was rumored to be a federal informant which is why Pac called him a snitch. In the N.Y. Daily News, in an article by a reporter who was talking about the rape case, the reporter, Pac and Mickey Rourke were in a restaurant and Pac dissed Jack in the article. In Vibe, Pac said that Nigel (Haitain Jack) introduced him to Booker(Jimmy Henchmen) and that Jimmy knew somebody that Pac had major beef with meaning Jack and Trevor aka Walter (King Tut) Johnson. King Tut was the one that Tupac said, in the interview with Tech and Sway on KMEL, that a week before he was shot Tut walked in with Biggie and Biggie told Pac not to fuck with him. So right there, you can see that Biggie knew the shooter quite well. Also, in that jail interview, Pac was asked if the shooters were both black men and Pac said that they were black men in their thirties. Both King Tut and Jack were both in their thirties. They both shot him up and it was Jimmy Henchman that called him up. So this other motive is that King Tut shot Pac because he “needed to be disciplined” for dissing Jack in that article because he was Tut’s homeboy. There were still a few issues which didn’t seem to fit. Originally, Pac thought that the police had set him up. He kind of abandoned that accusation but here is a quote about the scene after the shooting: “Officers arrived on the scene soon after the call was placed. When officers arrived, Tupac was greeted by the same officers which had arrested and testified against him in the sexual assault trial. This would lead many to believe that the police may have had something to do with it or the rape victim was seeking revenge but these wouldapparently turn out to be false accusations.” This seems more than coincedence because New York City has a special case squad located in the 13th precent. The detectives in this squal handle all high profile cases within NYC. They would have been called to the scene immediately after confirmation that this was a Tupac related incident. But who shows up, the same officers that arrested Pac. Coincedence or conspiracy? This is the story of the 1994 shooting in New York City. Think of it what you will but realize that there is more to the music business than the ordinary media will show. With all the details emerging from this shooting nearly 2 and a half years later, we must ask ourselves if the shooting in Las Vegas was just another jewelry robbery or if it was the complex situation like that which surrounded the 1994 shooting. Keep in mind that Tupac was shot in 1994 because he didn’t sign a contract therefore not making money for Bad Boy and it was covered up with the front of a robbery. Now we must ask, was Tupac shot in Las Vegas in 1996 because his contract was over with Death Row and it was covered up with the medallion robbery story. Did history repeat itself? You be the judge. © by feuer – http://www.tupac4u.de/ – [Via: ThisIs50]

Suge Knight – Reality TV Show – Sets Fire to G-Unit

WHAT!! Suge Knight. I didn’t think he had the capacity to do anything mainstream ever since Tupac was smoked. This show, “Unfinished Business” is all about his. It’s probably a show showing Suge Knight all glorified and shit like that. Gimme a break.

How about Suge Knight and his boys setting fire to G-Unit clothing. I smell BEEF!!!

Corrine Bailey Rae’s Husband – Dead in London

Music and drugs do not go well together. Apparently he had a drug overdose. 31 years old, and they are waiting for the toxicology report as of 03.23.08

Teedra Moses Speaks on Talent

My oh my. Tedra Moses. You gotta love this lady. I saw her at SOB’s about two months ago, and she rocked the mic. She’s got this charisma that is great, an awesome amount of energy, not crowd shy, and knows she’s sexy. After the show she let some guys come dance with her, take pictures, and just a whole bunch of real shit.

Ludacris Opens Music Website for Unsigned Artists, Putting You In the Public Eye For Stardom

ludacris

WeMix is the name of the game. I think this can be very promising. His audience is unsigned artists. You get to create your own pages like a myspace, upload your music, listen to others. The cool thing is that Ludacris use his connections, give select artists 48 hours of time in a studio and help make that demo a masterpiece.

The site accepts all types of music, even country music.

50 Cent Mock Funeral for Fat Joe

50 and Fat Joe. No Homo. These two birds keep going at it. According to Neilsen Soundscan, Fat Joe’s first week of album sales was are paltry 46,000. Now you knew 50 was going to get at the Bronx rapper in the event album sales were low, and he did. He makes a mock up funeral video of it, and pops some yin and yang. One troubled though about 50 Cent’s bragging, is that he boasts how many times his mixtape was download. My dear 50. New flash! Any day free album downloads will beat an album that you have to pay for. Let’s have an accurate and fair comparison.

Talib Kweli – Hostile Gospel Part 1

Ay yo Talib! What’s good my brethren. You are doing the damn thing. Shot on location Nigeria. Unlike the ice, hoes, and rides, you keeping it thorough. Big up.

Joe Budden – Touch and Go

joebudden

Eh. I am going back to my original position on Joe Budden. Not because Prodigy was talking a grip game about him, but mainly because of his skills, delivery, and tone. This is not a great song. Joe you gotta switch your style up. Maybe use an electronic voice or something. Bottom line, it’s not rocking.

This is the Year We Are Going to “Take Out” 50 Cent

Game, Fat Joe. They got a lot of energy on this radio. News flash Game and Joe. You are not taking down G-Unit or 50 Cent this year. They got long dough, and huge following, and Fat Joe, Papoose just lyrically slayed you. Your battle raps are not good. Game is good and can run alone and do them greasy, but I think you need a bigger army than two to hit up the Unit.

FYI, Khaled, you ain’t the best.

Del The Funky Homosapien – Freestyle

Umm. This sucks. Some people that don’t know how deeply invested I am into hip hop waltz up to me asking, "Dude, do you know who Del The Funky Homosapien is". My reply, "of course I do". Well I know he is in The Gorillaz, who I love by the way, and yes, he is in Hieroglyphics. As far as freestyling goes, it sucks. You just lemme know if you contest my opinion.

Sheek Louch – Good Love

Silverback Gorilla. Aight! In all honesty I was expecting some super, super fly models in here, but not only am I suprised, but you kept it real and put some real women in here. Good looks Louch.

Pete Rock – Till I Retire / Best Believe

Absolutely shine! This is that bling boi! This is that guap. Pete Rock? Young’ns there is no way you can sleep on this. The beat is fucking crack, and the rhymes are tight as hell. I wonder if this legend is on Prodigy’s list of wack rappers. Pete Rock, do ya thing doggy. And just when you thought it was over, who told Redman to get on here; that’s what’s up? This is the fucking shit!

One Be Lo – R.E.B.I.R.T.H.

onebelo

Yo! Who is this kid? I ain’t never heard of this dude until now. He’s got a sound that is similar to Lupe Fiasco, but in his own authenticity, and most certainly a different taste in beats. Doing some research on the guy, he is OneManArmy of Binary Star. Did a stint for Armed Robbery, and is now a muslim. He has a couple of albums out, but this is one we should be focusing on. It is new goddamn it!

  1. Rebirth. The album title’s song. Rebirth. A discussion of moving from OneManArmy (old name with Binary Star) to his new identity. How I can do, what I can do. One Be Lo does his thing doing a bit of chest puffin, but in a softer sense. "Only god can stop me".
  2. Born & Raised. Just a little autobiography, who I am, what I do.
  3. Keep It Rollin’. Introduction beat just knocks in and rolls real smooth. Not bass heavy, perfectly selected samples. Keep it rollin boy, we see how you do, what you do, just keep it rollin. The track is impressive again. Not too different, but the beat has your number!
  4. Smash. Smash is a butter track with lots of knowledge and a bit of shit talking. The beat is flavor with some Mister T quotes from Rocky which adds some flavor to it. Some nice cuts from the DJ scratching. This is one of my favorite tracks on the album. I dunno how he got Sylvester Stallone (Rocky) on this album, but I am sure he had to pay a pretty penny to the movie production company.
  5. Headlines. A knowledge popping record talking all about the headlines on the newspaper, current events, and trying to understand it all. The lyrical content is not razor sharp, but it is more story telling and getting you to slow down and think about what’s going on. This is a very good song considering the content. The beat is irrelevant, but not very creative.
  6. War. Audio sample. We got a track about violence! Nice. It’s not some G-Unit type of violence. I can see this record is a direct influence of his religious beliefs and how we are at war with our country and government. Tool up, and defend what’s yours. You know happens if you violate the team, this means WAR. Movie sound bytes again.
  7. Don’t Sleep. A nice hip hop jazzy kind of beat. The trumpet hits lovely, the rhymes go perfectly with this track and I will say it is the best record on the album if not second best to Smash.
  8. House Rules. The rules of the game are not as great as what we expect.
  9. Snap Shot. Marvelous. I must say. The introduction to this song is ripe! He mixes in really well with the beat hear, spitting at a different speed than the other tracks, giving us a showcase of his vernacular and ability. The beat on this track is premium. But…. Once again… the movie bytes. Rocky again.
  10. The G Gap. A sound clip again starts with this track. On Be Lo loves his audio samples from movies. They are cool, but seem to be overly abused. We haven’t seem all of these movies. The content of the track is growing up, having family issues, having adolescent issues, started selling drugs, getting in trouble, and the end result. The beat is mediocre, it improves and gets pretty dope when the hook rolls in, but he shows us his lack of hook skills by putting in an movie sound byte once again. The track is alright.
  11. Gray. This song is very fruitful with an illustrious beat. Not too soft, not hard, just smooth as hell. I don’t know who did production on this beat, but it is marvelous. Knowledge poppin track again. Gray I believe is the mood of the weather in people, and how it can get dim. "Sun rise, sun sets". The saxophone does not fit in this beat at all. It makes it feel like cheesy elevator jazz. Other than that, this record is good.
  12. Hip Hop Heaven. This is a like a jungle, beat made in Siam with the King and I. I love it. They lyrics and song is alright, but the beat is one to fall in love with.

Some Rappers Better Off Not Role Models – DMX Your Not Mine!!!

DMX. Alright buddy. Do you live under a rock? In a cave? Oh wait. I remember. You live in some illustrious pad and spend all of your time and money smoking crack (videos below)!

In his most recent interview in XXL magazine, he mentions how he does not keep up with politics, and how he does not even know who Barack Obama is, and then continues to make fun of his name.

DMX, you are one ignorant son of a bitch! I said it. Someone needs to say it. Let us remember this is the same guy that mentions in a song "Damien", "… and if you got a daughter older than 15, imma rape her, take her on the living room floor right there in front of you then asj you seriously, ‘what you wanna do?". Yeah. This guy gets paid lots of money gets his face on TV, smokes crack, gets a following of fans, and then shows us how much we should look up to him by saying some real ignorant, outlandish shit. Shame on you. You should get a new skin outfit. You do not deserve your armor. I’ll leave it at that, and let you just check this fool out.

AZ – Undeniable

Hmm… AZ. I forgot about this guy ever since him and Nas stopped buzzing like they used to. He seems to have the same swagger. And just as I typed that, he mentioned it in the music video. What a coincidence.

The video has some hunny bunnies in it, the old Don keeps it official, the track is jonny blaze. It is about time. A nice mix of what we have been constantly fed in today’s unchanging music scene. Thanks AZ!!! By the way, is that Ferrari yours?

Sheek Louch – Silverback Gorilla – Album Review

Sheek Louch is personally my favorite guy on the lox. He has the sharp lyrics, the quick disses that’ll make you laugh, and keeps you in his camp when there is beef. There is no question that he has done quite a bit of hard work for this album.

For those that do not know, this is his Junior effort and has this one released under Koch Records. A few more mainstream rappers has put a lot of heat on Koch, claiming it is a graveyard (smallest independent distributing channel), but guys like Sheek and Jim Jones have been releasing really good albums from Koch Records.

  1. The intro starts “Lottery Skit” off with a bodega cut. It sounds like it is a continuation of the bodega skit on “After Taxes”. This one is not nearly as funny, and I am not sure what is the point of it. Maybe their fascination with money, by referencing how they will hit the lottery, and what they will do with the money, and who they will take care of.
  2. I Think We Got a Problem. OOOOOOH! This is a very, very hard banger. I know real hood niggas will be bumping this shit. The beat is off the chain, and Sheek slays this track by first letting people how you solve problems, rob people, and peace out in the Aston Martin. “I think we got a problem, but homey all talk. He ain’t gone pop a balloon with a pitch fork”. He’s got some featured guys on here; Bun B and The Game
  3. You Gotta Keep Pushing. Eh. Going from a hard song to a song with singers is a big problem for mood if you ask me. This song is more of a “I can feel your pain” kinda song, where Sheek talks to the hood letting them know, to keep pushing. The song is not bad, but the placement of the song between two hard tracks is not a good look. This track belongs after Track 4
  4. Good Love. This is the record that has been getting some heavy rotation on Hot 97 and Power 105.1. It’s a tough track with a relaxed beat, and a cut that comes in every few seconds, “And I like that baby”, “Good love”… It’s obviously a sample taken from somewhere, but nonetheless, the track is all about good loving. Not a love track, but just an ode to what type of woman Sheek is looking for. He promises things won’t be perfect, but he’s still looking for that good love. I wouldn’t go far enough to say that this is a club banger, but something you can puff a loosy to and just parlay.
  5. D-Block/Dipset. What a dope idea and a dope collaboration. You know we got Jones on here. “Ballin”. I love this guy. Sheek comes with a tight ass track letting the public know who he rolls with. D-Block is on Koch, Dipset’s Jim Jones is on Kock, and so is Styles P, ,Hell Rell, and Jadakiss. Not too much of a theme or focus for this song. Just a bunch about how they roll, what they can do. The bragging is not as illustrious as how G-Unit does (cars, chains), this one is more about how thorough they are (drugs, hawk work… come bang with a nigga). Nevertheless, this is going to be the New York anthem. This record is hard body.
  6. We At War. The beat sorta puts the brakes on the momentum of the album, but not in a bad way. Just basically the speed of his spit. The beat is a mix of ska piano, a clip from Capleton? “Who dem”. They are all at war, with the cops, the struggle, and health… Not much more to say about this track. I’m not overly impressed with it.
  7. Scrap to This. “Long ass barrel, the shells is big”. As the title suggests, you scrap to this type of music. A hood track, with some beat that reminds me of triumphant music. Something you would heard if you mixed A Miracle on 34th Street, with Rocky music. In no way am I suggesting this track is soft. The track is tuff as hell.
  8. Don’t Be Them. I commend Sheek for putting this record out. This should speak to the youth and hopefully encourage them to wise up and be themselves. We have a problem with kids literally identifying with their favorite artists, and living through the words as if the artist really leads the live they rap about.
  9. Getting Stronger. It’s about getting stronger and getting your game as tight as well. Just as I suspected, I figured the momentum would continue to decline. The monotonous hook needs attention and possibly a feature by someone else to add a bit of creativity to the record.
  10. That’s a Soldier. A song dedicated to what Sheek feels a soldier is. A ride or die guy, hood, thorough. The track is not good. The hook needs work. Monotonous.
  11. What What. This song sucks. Monotonous hook. Sheek. You’re killing me. Three wack tracks in a row. “If you like getting money, What What”. What kind of hook is this?
  12. We Comin’ – Mixed with a bunch of down south guys, down south type beat. This song is pretty good. Sheek shows his ability to flip it up and rhyme in a southern speed, keeping up with the beat, spitting bars a bit faster and a bit more creatively. He decided to leave someone else to do the hook. The hook is terrible. “Get up out my way. Get up out my way, Get up out my way”, repeated like 30 times. Is this a joke? Sheek is really showing me the difference between Kock and Sony BMG or another big giant like Universal. The ability to get crafty artists that will make your album more appealing.
  13. Crowd. A skit starting off with Louch telling his boy to leave the glock in the crowd. They step into a store, and beef escalates. An intro to…. We Spray Crowds.
  14. We Spray Crowds. THIS SHIT IS HARD BODY. HRD. “I ain’t promoting no violence, but I’m just thinking out loud, go ‘head, stand there. we spray crowds!”. This track is what attracted me to the able. With a poppin beat, a tough ass hook and superior lyrics by Sheek, this record is definitely on smash. Go ahead, you rep your borough, you tough, and you on the street all alone and your thing hold 8, I feel you homey, I feel you homey. Spin this shit and let it speak for itself.
  15. Rubber Grip. This ain’t about condoms. It’s like a bite off of G-Unit’s My Buddy. This is a love song about getting the rubber grip for his bitch (gun. For those that did not see Training Day). Seems like a West Coast beat, whining synthetics. The beat is off the hook. Fat Joe comes in with some nicely crafted bars. I heard a guy say “Yeah. Yeah” in the background after Joe was rhyming, I was hoping it was Lil Wayne. That would’ve made this song a number 1 banger, but… It was Styles P. Not a disappointment, but just not what I was hoping for. This song is good though.
  16. 2 Turntables & A Mic. Sheek is a B-boy? I had no idea! Lol. This song once again, rhymes are alright. The beat does not go with the hook or the tone of Sheek’s voice. I’m not really feeling this track. I won’t dismiss it though, as I know some people will enjoy it.
  17. Mic Check. It starts off with a Michael Myers kinds sad music intro. It makes me want to sing and say, I am sorry things are so sad. It’s all about his beginnings, reminiscing, thinking about how his image is, how people perceive hip-hop and what they expect. Sheek does not leave us empty handed, and definitely lets us know, he still holds it down. This is a real track. Not a bang in your whip type, but you just be like, no doubt. I feel your pain.
  18. Go Hoodlums. This beat is CRACK. I was expecting a funny or annoying outro, Sheek does not leave us wanting more at the end of the album, which is a very, important part of the entire album. Most people don’t listen to the album on shuffle, so the first few, middle few, and last record have to be like wow. The beat on this is tight, the bass hits nice and rough, the hook is tuff. I can fucks with this. “Still white tee, still hug the block”. I’m wit’ it.

Rating: 8/16 – 50% (What does this mean?)

Hey Hillary, Show Us Your Income Tax Return

Obama’s camp has a new strategy which I wholeheartedly support. He’s showing the public and Clinton his cards, now let’s see if Clinton will show us her cards. It seems that the public has forgotten the Clinton’s have been investigated in the past, with regards to the Whitewater scandal, Impeachment, and Campaign finance snafus. Obama’s camp wants the cards shown as they believe Clinton is not as honest as she says she is. So far Obama has shown his tax returns, as well as his earmark requests.

It is now public knowledge that they Clintons have not released any of their tax returns since Bill was in the White House. Since that time, they have made millions of dollars from books, public speaking, and interest earned on investments. They have promised to release their tax returns by April 15th, 2008. This leaves them with almost a month to do some hiding. Good thing about the Federal Government of today, as of now, they seem vicious to destroy the credibility of officials (Democrats only so far… Spitzer).

Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy Knew Tupac Was Getting Ambushed – Breaking News

tupac

Chuck Philips has uncovered some information related to the Ambush that was planned to take out Tupac in 1994. I wonder how this will impact Diddy legally. We shall see. The sick thing about this whole story is that Diddy was and is friends with these guys. It seems that he has done a wonderful job of distancing himself, and making himself a more than wealthy gangster in the interim. Nevertheless, Karma and shit will always come around a bite you in the ass!

Los Angeles Times journalist Chuck Philips has more surprising allegations concerning musical icons Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G. (born Christopher Wallace) and Sean "Diddy" Combs. In an article that the Times will be publishing Monday morning (March 17), Philips alleges that Combs and Wallace were aware, a week in advance, that Tupac would be ambushed in the 1994 shooting at New York’s Quad Recording Studios, two years before he was shot and killed in Las Vegas.

"They were advised in advance of what was going to happen," Philips told MTV News on Saturday. "They did not know the assailants were going to be shooting. In fact, [the assailants] were told no shooting. But Tupac pulled a gun, and it went haywire. It was supposed to be a severe beating."

Shakur was at DJ Ron G’s home laying down raps for a mixtape on November 30, 1994. He was called to Quad Studios to rap on a song by Uptown artist Little Shawn, for which he was to be paid $7,000. When Pac got to the studio, he was robbed, beaten and shot a reported five times by the assailants (although some reports say he shot himself twice accidently).

Philips’ article also alleges that the main mastermind behind the Shakur setup was Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond who currently manages a slew of artists such as the Game and Gucci Mane.

Philips said he arrived at this conclusion after years of delving into the incident. He has talked to men who he believes were directly involved in the shooting and has uncovered papers documenting an FBI investigation whose findings coincide with his research.

"The FBI talked to some criminals that said Jimmy Henchman was involved," Philips said.

When reached for comment on Saturday, Rosemond said Philips’ story is so ridiculous, he refused to dignify it with a remark.

As Tupac’s fans know, Shakur himself accused Henchman of being a part in the scheme in "Against All Odds": "And did I mention/ Promised a payback, Jimmy Henchman/ In due time/ I knew you b—- n—as was listening/ The world is mine/ Set me up/ Wet me up/ N—as stuck me up/ Heard the guns bust/ But you tricks never shut me up."

In interviews, Rosemond has gone on record saying that he played no part in the scheme.

After the Quad shooting, Shakur considered Combs and Wallace bitter enemies, and their feud continued all the way until Shakur’s murder in 1996. But prior to the incident, Pac was supposedly friends with the Bad Boy camp. So why would they turn a blind eye to him being set up, or play any part in it at all? Combs was unable to be reached for comment about Philips’ new article, but in the wake of the Quad shooting, both Combs and Wallace appeared on MTV to deny that they had any knowledge of who shot Tupac and said that they had nothing to do with it.

In another shocking allegation, Philips said that the 1994 incident might have been meant to strong-arm Shakur into officially coming to the Bad Boy camp.

"What I believe is that Bad Boy, who was very young then — they had Craig Mack and Biggie back in ’93," Philips explained. "They were a brand-new company. Puffy was trying to start his company, and they wanted other artists on this label besides those two. One of them might have been Tupac. Tupac told them no. He told a number of other people no. … You have to remember, Puffy got a lot of money to start up Bad Boy from Arista. A lot of people wanted to get their hands on some of that money. A lot of people he hung around would do things to try to impress him."

his is not the first bombshell Phillips has dropped concerning Shakur and Wallace. In 2002, he wrote an article alleging that Wallace had offered the Crips $1 million to murder Shakur. In fact, he said Biggie was negotiating the hit on September 7, 1996, the night Tupac was shot in Las Vegas.

That article was immediately refuted by Wallace’s family and friends and shown to have some holes in his theories.

"We are outraged at the false and damaging statements," Wallace’s family said in a statement in 2002. "For the record, Wallace was at his home in New Jersey on the night of Tupac Shakur’s murder, with friends who will continue to testify for his whereabouts, since he is unable to defend himself. Both men will have no peace as long as stories such as these continue to be written."

In 2002, Voletta Wallace, Big’s mother, told MTV News that she was outraged by Philips’ article.

"For a second, I felt that my son was just murdered [again]. My initial reaction?" she said, with anger. "I’m hurt. Somebody’s attacking my son, my son who died five and a half years ago. How do I feel? I’m downright angry. I’m a mother, I’m a human being, and [Chuck Philips] is gonna attack my son that’s not here to come forward and defend himself. Damn, I’m mad! … I will find peace when myself and my lawyers deal with Chuck Philips and the L.A. Times."

Philips still stands behinds his previous story.

"Yeah, I do," he maintained Saturday. "I think the story was misinterpreted. … What I wrote in that story was that the Southside Crips were in Las Vegas, and so were the Bloods. Tupac punched a Southside Crip, and Suge’s guy piled up on that guy. Those guys made a decision the minute this happened that they were going to kill him. … You don’t punch a gang member in a public place, where you’re humiliating him. They were going to kill him. And they did kill him. … Prior to this time, in the month ahead of this, the people I talked to said Biggie had asked the Southside Crips — as had other people in their crew — to kill Tupac. Southside Crips didn’t take it seriously. They thought he was just talking. On this night when they decided they were going to kill Tupac, they said, ‘Let’s make some money out of this.’ Then this transaction went down. It’s almost like extortion."

Philips’ theory contradicts Biggie’s claims that he loved Pac.

"I was living in Manhattan," Wallace’s widow Faith Evans recalled in 2002 about the night Tupac died. "I was about eight months pregnant with our son C.J. The night [Tupac was shot], I remember Big calling me and crying. I know for a fact he was in Jersey. He called me crying because he was in shock. I think it’s fair to say he was probably afraid, given everything that was going on at that time and all the hype that was put on this so-called beef that he didn’t really have in his heart against anyone.

"I think it would be some element of fear that would kind of run through his mind," she added, "given the fact that his name was involved in a lot of the situations involving Tupac before his murder. He was already getting threatening phone calls. I’m sure for all he thought, he could be next. Which ironically, months later, he lost his life as well." [Via: LA Times]

Windows Vista SP1 and Windows XP SP3 Available Upcoming Week

vista

If you have been in a frenzy like me backing up your system to get back to Windows XP, due to frustration with Vista’s slowness, you might want to hang tight a few more days until Microsoft drops Vista’s SP1 update. This same upcoming week Microsoft will drop its third service pack for XP. I am sure all of these updates will prove better performance for the Vole’s lineup of operating systems.

If you do not force Windows update, then you may not get the updates until late April. Just a heads up.
