You could’ve known this was going to happen at some point or another. Kanye West, known for saying, "Don’t ever give me a record I can’t sample". Real musicians call him the sample king. He has literally built his career off of taking great songs, sampling them, and making greater beats. I commend his efforts; however, Mr. West, please pay your dues.

He is being sued for allegedly sampling the 1985 song, "Good Life".  D’Mystro filed the suit on March 20th, 2008 and said, "he didn’t obtain a license to use" works from his volume of songs. He seeks 85% of all universe sales of the song. We all know why he waited this long right? Hmmm. Longer for the song to rotate, more he could potentially make. If he wins this lawsuit, he will walk away with king’s ransom. Apparently he feels that Kanye’s rendition of the song hurts the reputation of the song that D’Mystro put out years ago.
