The Mercedes Benz line of cars have never really impressed me too much. They always just seemed to be too much money for just the name, and maintenance costs can be high as well. Lately I have been hanging out in a different part of the city. I call it MBenz land. The Benz’ are run rampant here. One that has particularly taken my breath away several times, is the jet black Mercedes Benz S63 AMG. I went and test drove one the other day just because I want to get one. Let me jump right in.

So you probably have heard the news already. Akon’s past is not what he describes it to be. While I have yet to hear his plea for ghetto credibility, I will start by mentioning we call wanna be tough guys, “Telephone Thugs”. You know them. The same guys that may have called your cell phone before acting all hard, and when push comes to shove, the are the last guys that wanna play the yard and shoot the hands.

I’m not one to call anyone a bumbaclot, but c’mon Akon. If you straight fabricated your entire ghetto credibility to get where you are, I have one word for you.

If you guys are loyal Mobb Deep fans, you can remember in the early parts of the century when Prodigy was dropping singles and his own mixtapes. If you’re like me, you miss those bangers and Prodigy’s whole theme. He’s seem to have gotten very morose over his course of aging. I am not hating on the guy, but I can tell you this. I miss P. He has said some things that have done nothing but aggravate me from his music, as well as make me consider him as someone who has fallen off.

We all know he is locked up behind bars for being a fool. Am I going out to get a “Free P” shirt? Hell nah. Will I shout on my blog how much he ain’t poppin’, and then go and secretly get his album and review it in the corner of my house? Of course!

H.N.I.C. 2; I can tell you this much. I’m on track 3 and I like what I am hearing. Beats, vibe. It’s not weak. I recommend peeping it.

Formula 50 to Push Games Album Back

With all that money, and power, he can control the fate of some artists albums. With Game owing 50 another 2 albums after L.A.X., 50 decided to put the news out on the street, as well as let us know, that Game’s album will conflict with the G-Unit album coming out in June. I think it is a great business move on 50′s end, as he gets paid on both sides of this deal. There is no reason to have a full out east coast west coast war where one album will take from another album. I haven’t heard much from Game about this, so I am sure he has no complaints with the potential to sell more albums either.

Coldplay Makes 4th Album

It is music to my ears when I hear that Coldplay is making another album. While I do not think many will be able to topple my favorite Parachutes, it is still great to hear. The title, which is strange, is called: Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends.

The album should be in stores on June 17th and will be released from Capitol Records. Track list below:

Buggatti Veyron – 253 MPH, Fastest Street Legal Car in the World (Video)

This care can bang out 253 MPH, is available to be purchased by the public, and goes faster than F1 cars. There are features common to normal cars such as; leather bucket seats, A/C, radio and to boot, amazing aerodynamics. You need a special key which effectively lowers the cars to the ground, and makes the aerodynamic flap in the back pop down.

Doing 150 MPH is easy as only 270 horse power needed to push this 4,000+ LB car to 150 MPH, yet a staggering 730 additional horsepower is needed to push the car to an additional 100 MPH at 253 MPH. That’s mother nature for you.

When making this car, they couldn’t use Formula 1′s wind tunnel. The F1 team said even they don’t do that fast, so they couldn’t. Nevertheless, 5 MPG does not make this a very green car. The fuel runs out in 12 minutes, the tire rubber wears in a little bit more time (50 mins).

Windows XP Explorer Double-click Opens Search Instead of Folder

Q. When I create a new folder on the desktop and then try to open it by double-clicking, it opens up the Search Companion. I have to right click the shortcut and then left click on "Open" or "Explore" to be able to simply view the contents of the folder. Any thoughts? No one around here can make a guess.

A. According to Microsoft, this behavior can occur when you open the Edit File Type dialog box for the Drive or File Folder registered file types.

For example, say you were trying to add the Print Directory feature to a folder in XP. This change could cause the problem you are describing.

Microsoft acknowledges that this is a problem in Knowledge Base article #321379 and offers the following fix:

1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate and then click the Default value under the following keys in the registry if this problem occurs with folders:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
If this problem occurs with drives:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
3. Click Modify on the Edit menu.
4. Type none in the Value data box, and then click OK.
5. Quit Registry Editor.

I have also read on a few reputable sites of a quick fix that involves opening a command prompt and typing the following:

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

50 Cent has flip flopped, just like politicians do. Before, he was all gung-ho for Clinton, but now, he has had a change of heart. 50 is all about Barack Obama nowadays.

Hillary Clinton appears to have lost a high-profile backer to rival Barack Obama.

Rapper 50 Cent, who told Time magazine last September he was supporting the New York senator’s White House bid, now says he has decided to shift his allegiance to Obama.

The multi-platinum star, born Curtis Jackson, told MTV News Friday that Obama’s recent speech on race was the deciding factor for his decision.

"I heard Obama speak," he said. "He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-’Malcolm X,’ and I swear to God, I’m like, ‘Yo, Obama!’

"I’m Obama to the end now, baby!"

But the musician also admitted he’s lost interest in the protracted Democratic race, and may not support either candidate.

"To be honest, I haven’t been following that anymore. I lost my interest," he said. "I listened to some of the debates and things that they were saying, and I just got lost in everything that was going on…Don’t look for my vote, for me to determine nothing on that. Just say, ’50 Cent, he don’t know, so don’t ask Fiddy.’

He also said he didn’t think the country is ready for a black president.

"I just think there’s people that might not be ready for an African-American president," he said. "It’ll be an issue, believe it or not."

"You’ve got to be conscious of racism, period," he continued. "And it’s still there. We don’t deal with it as often as my grandparents did. My grandparents grew up in South Carolina, so they experienced the heart of that." [Via: CNN]

50 Cent Sets the Record Straight Regarding Young Buck

Almost two weeks ago Young Buck mentioned in an interview that he hasn’t seen a single royalty payment from any of his album sales. Apparently Young Buck did not know it was going to stir up some mixed reviews from within his own camp, and also flare the ears of hip-hop followers. Only a few days after his interview and statements, his own manager Sha Money XL come out and denied Young Bucks statements.

It sounds like a conflict of interest to me, or the G-Unit clique ain’t as airtight as we all think it is. Is Young Buck the next Game?

A few days ago, the boss 50 Cent aired it out and let us know what is going on. According to 50, all of his artists have seen over $10M; while he did not deny anything with regards to royalties, he did mention that his artists are handsomely paid. 50 also mentions that his artists are somewhat not aware of what they are saying and can often blow things out of proportion.

My take is that 50 should get some professionals and train his artists on how to do interviews.

The Buck and 50 "rumored" beef is getting real old. Young Buck says something to hint at tension between the two, then 50 Cent denies it. Buck then comes back and says the pair are good, then something else comes out proving otherwise.

In the G-Unit saga, Buck had recently said a few things "allegedly" that would once again hint at his displeasure from 50 Cent. Most recently, via an online interview, Buck allegedly said that he had not received one royalty check for his works there.

However, just days later, Buck’s manager Sha Money XL released a statement proving that the interview was either a hoax and/or just a rumor.

"There has been a new rumor going around that 50 Cent has not paid Young Buck any royalties. I, as Buck’s manager and as former President of G-Unit Records want to make it clear: that is false. Young Buck has cleared over $10 million dollars working under 50 Cent’s and my guidance," Sha Money said in the statement.

Buck also made it very clear to us in February when asked about his status with G-Unit that he’s still down 100%.

"I’m doing me, I’m getting to the money. I put the ‘G’ in G-Unit and I ain’t going no where regardless of whatever you may hear. Me and 50 good," Buck told BallerStatus.com.

Now, in a recent interview with MTV, 50 Cent weighs in on the royalty topic and discusses any rumored turmoil within his crew.

"Each person in G-Unit has earned over $10 million in their career at this point," 50 told MTV. "Outside of the guys that didn’t release product — M.O.P., Spider Loc, Olivia — the guys that had their project go out physically. I didn’t say they have $10 million, I said they’ve seen $10 million. What they did with their paper, I don’t know.

"I think you have to give them something to blow it out of proportion. Buck did that. I think that what he was saying, in order to validate himself as a man, he feels he has to go against what I’m doing, similar to some of the things we’ve seen from Game … [But then] he’ll back off of it, when we’re in direct conversation. When he’s out in public, he’ll say something. They’re like my younger brothers, but they’ll do sh– for attention. They’ll do things, then when I look like, ‘What are you doing?’ They’ll be like, ‘Oh, nah, because you was doing this. … Because you didn’t call me when you were on the international tour.’ I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me? You didn’t call neither, so what does that mean?’ "

And although he compared the Buck situation with his situation with The Game, he said that he and Buck’s relationship was much deeper than his with the Compton rapper, which is why they are able to mend anything said publicly. [Via: Baller Status]

People Say T.I. Is a Snitch – Prodigy Prison Bid vs. T.I. Prison Bid

I read somewhere that some people are trying to stir up the media and say that T.I. is a snitch because he only got a note and a few months for his gun bid, versus Prodigy’s bid for toting a .22 caliber pistol in his whip. First thing is first. Some people really listen to Prodigy’s raps and really think he is chipped up like that? That is absolute hubris. T.I. is a platinum selling artist. Regardless of if he got caught with an AR-15, AK-47, or M15, the guy is chipped up. T.I. can actually afford high profile attorneys, whereas Prodigy who thinks he is super rich because of his $1M advance from G-Unit, is actually not rich enough to fight those charges. Both are convicted felons who already did stints back in their young adolescent lives, but back to what I stated before, "Money Talks".

The judicial system is not fair. I read the blog on ThisIs50.com (http://thisis50.com/xn/detail/784568:BlogPost:2330469) where some guy was tying to stir everything up. You guys check the records,

It seems to me that concealed weapons charges are much more inflexible than non-concealed weapons charges.

Furthermore, Prodigy was not cooperating with the police and affording inside information on 50 Cent (http://www.ballerstatus.com/article/news/2008/04/4412/). What happened here is that they threw the book at Prodigy and probably did not give him any options.

As far as T.I. being a snitch, I think this is far from the truth.
