Always proud to be a promoter of G-Unit. They have been consistently doing their damn thing since I first heard of them.
I was disappointed with Lloyd Banks performance and almost wrote the guy off. I decided to download his latest efforts, Halloween Havoc. This was only after I heard an interview about him from a bloggers website. There was a track playing in the background and Banks was giving props to a lot of respectable rappers who he grew up listening to. At that time I heard Banks say, “I grew up listening to these guys. This is rap, this is what I want to bring it back to”.
I searched, I found. Halloween Havoc is a proper fucking mix-tape. A lot of the mix-tape is shout-outs, gripping the block, keeping it real; in absence of the PLK’s notorious barrage of compliments to himself. Don’t get it twisted, there are a few brags about chips and bling, but most of it is pretty fucking hard. Gangster. Gutter. Dirty. It’s what The Durty Version is all about.
I am very, very proud of Lloyd Banks efforts. This collection is pretty fucking hard. I don’t know what else to say but…. “Get it!”

It looks like 50 Cent read this book: “The Money and the Power: The Making of Las Vegas and Its Hold on America”
I heard a few stories of 50 Cent dropping a show on MTV. MTV is a channel I do not frequent. It is filled with too many corny people crying with a lame implementation of “Real” life with their un-reality shows.
So last night I’m flicking through the channels and don’t see anything on the History Channel, or National Geographic. Moments after clicking the Guide Button I’m delighted to see my one and only homeboy, 50!! For all of those unaware, I’m a 50 Cent believer.
I see him chewing out people, Tony Yayo getting at these kids; “You think you’re a leader? You should change your name to loser’s cause ya’ll stay losing”. 50 is ice-grilling the losers; dude got all in this girls face, calm, quiet, collective, and intimidating. He looked this girl dead in her eye as if he was about to kill her. You could see the fear of god in this girl. She couldn’t keep a calm direct eye on him. You can tell how 50 Cent runs his ship; with a strong arm. Later at the end of the show he kicks some girl off. “Angie, get the fuck outta here. I could never trust you with my money!”; followed up by Yayo, “Yeah you wack. Get your shit moving”.
This is something I never got from Donald Trump. This is what I was looking for in an Apprentice. Nonetheless, 50’s show is not for an apprentice which he conveyed to the cast. “I want a hustler, someone with street smart, business acumen, and someone who can get the job done”. In all honesty, all the kids on the show most definitely do not have what 50 is looking for. I personally and honestly think I would be a great contestant on the show. From the mean streets of Motor City, accelerating in the business world, a chameleon complexion, and the ability to adapt to all spectrums of situations.
What the show needs is a bunch of guys and girls each rough around the edges, but can adapt to a business or hustle scenario and not be sniffed out. Ones that can hang in the hood and not get their cover-blown. Someone who can hang at a business table and convince investors the color of their skin, clothing, history, or gender should not be a deciding factor in funding. A chameleon is what this show needs.
Altogether, I like the ice grill 50 gives these kids. He is real fucking serious.
Something about this video is real SPECIAL! I guess this is what The Unit is looking for. I ain’t against, but a proud promoter for this. Double X chromosome is really great!

First and foremost, Lupe; you are a weak rapper, your buzz is dead, and you’re just dumb. Homeboy wasn’t impressed by Barack Obama’s winning speech.
All throughout this campaign Lupe has been talking shit about Barack. It makes me wonder who the “gay” rapper really is. Lupe, I have news for you. The man’s grandmother just died the night before. What do you expect from the guy. He was stressed and you could see it in his face. He was probably also thinking about the bounty on his head from KKK. The man is human, is the first African American to be President of this wonderful country and all you can do is bark about his speech? Go dig a hole, pore concrete in it, stand in it, and let it dry, you dirtbag. I like what Sohh has to say about you;
There was no need for a memorable earth-shattering speech, the moment was unforgettable enough. But don’t’ worry Mr. Cool, he’ll have four years to make it up to you. Hopefully, by then you’ll have made an album that "moves" us to believe you’re not just a slightly over hyped rapper from Chicago.

It has been stated that Kanye is speaking about Jay-Z dropping a Blueprint 3. I am not sure about the fascination with the title of the album, I think he should kid it old skool and give us another Reasonable Doubt. That would be absolutely marvelous. What would be absolutely wonderful is if all of my favorite rappers, Nas, Jay-Z, 50 Cent all went on a $50K year budget and lived poor so that they could get back in the streets and keep spitting that Hungry Fire at us. After they make a few chips, they start talking about things we cannot relate to.
in an effort to sell and become a household name, Lupe’s next album will be a triple album with three cds. I can imagine after dropping such a content packed album, the artist will go on hiatus for a while to collect more rhymes. I am not a big fan of Lupe and listening to three CDs worth of this guys trash sounds like torture. The good thing is that if he does this, we can get it over with and he can hopefully drop from the hip-hop scene.
