GURU Beverage Company and Kanye West are joining forces to launch a drink to appeal to West’s fan base. More than likely, this is a point where Kanye West can outsell 50 Cent in other areas. Doubtful this will happen as 50 has Coca Cola helping him out. Nevertheless, I can imagine Kanye West will do faily well with these drinks if Guru can position itself to sell the beverages in more locations than Whole Foods. GURU Beverage currently offers a line of energy drinks which are all natural. I plan to step to Whole Foods by the end of the day and tasting one.

So far the beverage labeling has not been designed, but I hope it will look much better than the plain aluminum cans currently afforded by Guru. Kanye mentions: “I express myself through music, fashion, art and design and that’s why I am excited to collaborate with GURU," Ye wrote in a statement. "[It's] because the brand values what I value, and I can put what inspires me into this new product."
