Rick Ross is most definitely pushing his album in a hard way, and it seems like he is doing the right thing. He’s got a high definition video called Deeper Than Rap. Reminds me of the Wire with lil pookie; some young dope boys with a strong initiative to make it happen; but it’s supposed to be young Ross (yea right). Little yungin’ playing video games talking to his dope boy brother, meanwhile he comes in and get clapped. Little one is spared by some Ol G. I can sense the vengeance building.
The video is actually quite original as an idea for the beginning of a rap album. After seeing this, I feel slightly more confident that Rick might be able to market his album enough to get some sales and disappoint 50 Cent. I mean, he only has Rik Cordero who did the video and the shit is real as hell.
