Rick Ross To Rich To Afford Real Louis Vuitton Sun Shades

rickrosscover

That’s it guys. I wrote a blog about the artist record sales money breakdown a couple of weeks ago. Peep it: http://www.thedurtyversion.com/2009/04/29/rick-ross-and-his-158000-album-sales-lets-do-the-math/

Back to the scheduled program. What do you do when you sell 158,000 albums in your first week? Me? I usually double that dough in a cool week or so. As for “Munkey”, Officer Ricky? Well, he waddles his fat ass all the way to China town and cops fake Louis Vuitton sun glasses. Later he accepts a photo shoot from XXL magazine which will display on the May cover of the prominent magazine to show of his cheap sun shades.

Awesome! Aren’t you glad that super “rich” rappers can’t afford the real shit? Well, we know readers of ‘the durty version’ can cop the real shit, cause they chip game nicer than grandmothers. Lol. Lloyd Banks! As for a reference: http://www.xxlmag.com/online/?p=46026

The letter from the one and only, Michael D. Pantalony, Esq. I love it how the lawyer gets to the point and just plays him.

Eminem – Nick Cannon (Beef We Can’t Settle It)

eminem_wallpaper_3

I didn’t even hear the track [because the album didn’t drop]; but I sampled a torrent. He he. Em has managed to do it again and pissed someone off. Nick Cannon. After reading Nick Cannon’s blog, I kinda see where he is coming from. I just wonder how this is going to turn out. I seriously doubt this will do anything but fuel Eminem’s record sales.

Best Rapper Alive

vibebestrapper

After listening to Joe Budden on JoeBuddenTV vent about his ranking, as well as challenging more then 50 of the other emcees on the list, I decided to take a look at the PDF myself. First and foremost, Joell Ortiz stays calm and collective in the whole video. I commend his professionalism. On the other hand, I’d side with Joe Budden regarding this list; Joe would DESTROY Method Man. Classic or not classic joints. In terms of rapping, Joe is much better than Method Man. Perhaps it was Vibe’s effort to pair rappers accordingly with respect to their style. I don’t know. I didn’t compile the list, nor do I know the author. I can tell you this much; of some of the rappers on the list, some of them have to go.

Tanya Morgan Feat. Phonte and Brittany Bosco – She’s Gone

TanyaMorganBrooklynati

Just a lil something from the Brooklynati which I think is quite fire! My take; anything featuring Phonte… That’s my boy. I been waiting for something from his lately. I have been hearing quite a few records with Big Pooh all alone, but Tae; get em. Even if you just are on a hook.

Marco Polo and Torae – Double Barrel Training Pt. 1

marcopolotorae

I saw a snippet of Marco Polo and his beat bassment a few months ago. He stays with some old kush cuts and I feel his style. For a minute I thought the track was going to be a Rocky Cut… Good grief; it wasn’t. I wouldn’t be feeling Torae spit over Eye of the Tiger. Nevertheless, the two collaborate and make a hard ass track. “Give us more”; I can already hear the Brooklyn t-shirt wearing Brooklynites chanting.

Mos Def – Casa Bey

Excuse me people of the field; It looks like he’s back. Need I say anymore? Look, Listen… Future Emcees, grab out the pad and pen and take notes.
