Rapper 50 Cent appeared on Philadelphia’s Power 99FM this morning (November 3) and addressed a number of controversial feuds currently taking place in Hip-Hop.

50 stopped by Miss Jones’ morning show and discussed Jay-Z’s feud with Philly artist Beanie Sigel, Jay-Z and Rick Ross.

Sigel recently dropped a track titled “Average Cat,” where he accused Jay-Z of abandoning artists on Roc-A-Fella, questioned Jay-Z’s loyalty and accused the mogul of locking him into his deal with the Roc.

50 Cent confirmed Sigel’s allegations on “Average Cat” that he almost signed the Philadelphia-bred rapper to his G-Unit Records, which at one point, was to jointly market a project by former Roc-A-Fella artist Freeway.

“He [Beanie Sigel] would have got at least $800,000 at that point to come over,” 50 Cent told Miss Jones. “Jay was telling him that he didn’t want to lose him. I think Jay and Puffy had these feelings toward me at one point I believe.”

During an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Beanie Sigel revealed that he was close to signing a deal with G-Unit, but the deal was blocked by Jay-Z.

50 Cent confirmed this and also stated that he ran into the same issues when he attempted to bring estranged Bad Boy artist Mase into the G-Unit fold.

“They didn’t want to lose anything to me, while their energy was going on. Puff didn’t want to sign the Mase deal and Jay didn’t want to do that,” 50 Cent told Miss Jones today (November 3).

50 Cent has wasted no time replying to Rick Ross’ “Baby By Me” remix which hit the Internet yesterday dissing G-Unit.

“I’ve never seen a bigger fraud in Hip-Hop. He Just did a remix to Baby by Me. “It’ll count as a spin for my record. He’s an idiot. I’d be upset if my baby’s momma was out there. He’s broke. His last album sold 300,000 copies. His last record [Triple C’s Custom Cars and Cyles ] just like sold 4,000 records.”

Rick Ross has come out and publicly challenged formula 50 and stated he will outsell him with his new album ‘Deeper than Rap’. We all know 50 is very good at burying MC’s that challenge him, nonetheless one thing 50 isn’t good at is making people in the south more computer literate. It is obvious to me the reason album sales from southern rappers are better performing compared to their East Coast competitors, is directly related to East coast people and northern most people being more computer saavy.

I think this challenge presented by Ross is a good challenge, and there is a decent possibility he can win. 50’s  numbers have been decreasing in years, mainly due to him strategically betting himself against popular artists. Ross is not hott, but he does have a few great features on his upcoming album (Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Mary J. Blige, and Avery Storm). These artists alone may push Ross up the charts.

This is the track off of Blood in the Sand. I don’t have a problem with this track at all. Listening to a couple of other bloggers, they weren’t impressed by it. Neither am I, but I won’t call the track wack. Nah mean?

Even though 50 Cent is in Dr. Dre’s camp and talks real greasy about Nas time and time again, Dr. Dre has even collaborated with Nas to make a track on Dretox. I wonder what formula 50 has to say about that.

Dr. Dre has been recording for Dretox since 2000 and apparently has over 400 records for the album. I can see Dre dropping albums consistently in the new few years, although we will ultimately have to wait until Eminem is done with his album Relapse.

It is good to see that Dr. Dre knows what’s up even though he backs 50. Dre has been a very quiet guy, not ever getting in the middle of beef. He’s even got The Game on the album and 50 on the album. Who wouldn’t want to be on the album even if you are enemies with another artist on the track. I hope he drops a double CD, I’d eat my shirt if he did.

I didn’t expect this buzz to pop off just because Ross didn’t like a glimpse that fif gave em. I never been much of a fan of Rick Ross, but I wil admit, he is kinda smooth with the flowing tip.50 always goes hard and never goes home. Below you got the Ross and the 50 retort.

This could be a major deal in the coming months and I predict it to be a power investment move for the future of 50 Cent’s war chest. Deathrow Records. Suge Knight has to put it up for sale due to poorly managing music and his career. Fortunately for 50 Cent or whoever might get the winning bid, Snoop Dogg and 2Pac’s catalogues are in there. These are classic records that are not ever going anywhere. This is similar to Michael Jackson’s winning bid of the Beatles catalogue in the past. The purchase could bring life long dough.

Details of the DeathRow bid is that its up for a $24M sale and bidders are shook to buy it because of Suge Knight. Unfortunately for Suge, 50 is a gangster and I doubt he’d be scared of Suge. All in all, 50 might end up with it.

I just hope this does not lead to shots getting fired at any of the two parties resulting in a rap related death. It’s only money, right?

A few months ago when 50 was feeling himself, he put Trump’s name in his mouth and stated his show would reign over Trump’s show. Apparently 50 didn’t do his homework, nor did he have the budget or entertainment industry clout to gather a big name such as, Mark Burnett. 50, if you’re reading this, repeat the name. Mark Burnett. Would you like me to explain?

David Pritikin and Michael Bloom: David was Mark Burnett’s supervising producer for Survivor. Other than that, he didn’t make that much of a buzz with respect to great TV shows. Michael Bloom. Viva La Bam. C’mon. Mark Burnett has been shining for quite some time.

Compare the walnuts, the clout, the status, and strings… 50, don’t pit yourself against a household name. Not everyone in the USA knows who 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, or Lloyd Banks are, and I am sure most of them do not care about african-american modern rap culture; you know. The cussing, dis-respecting; the ghetto ass people you have in your show. They don’t even look good. The girls in The Apprentice, most of them were hot! Stick to rap albums, soft-drinks, and clothing. Let Trump do his thing, don’t piss him off or he may pull some strings and throw you under the bus.

In XXL’s latest interview, 50 takes shots a Nas again. “His career is finished and can’t get the attention of the public let alone myself”. Well my friend, it is true you make a lot of dough. Rapping is not all about who makes the most money. Rapping is about respect, and what true audiophiles appreciate. I can guarantee you, Nas will be in history books as being one of the GREATEST MCs to walk the earth. You will NOT even be considered as such. You will merely be remembered as a guy that made a lot of money and got shot 9 times. That tale will die early, while a title of one that is of the highest regard and respect will not die easy. I doubt if Nas’ title as being one of the greatest mcs will ever fade.
