I’m not sure why Meka wasn’t feeling this track, but I think this is a quality remake. Granted, the origz we hear as a kid can never be outdone; but this track is good.

So you probably have heard the news already. Akon’s past is not what he describes it to be. While I have yet to hear his plea for ghetto credibility, I will start by mentioning we call wanna be tough guys, “Telephone Thugs”. You know them. The same guys that may have called your cell phone before acting all hard, and when push comes to shove, the are the last guys that wanna play the yard and shoot the hands.
I’m not one to call anyone a bumbaclot, but c’mon Akon. If you straight fabricated your entire ghetto credibility to get where you are, I have one word for you.
INGENIOUS! I love it. You know what sells, you know what the street wants, and I can guarantee you; the ladies will still buy your music. Do you brethren!
Beat is tuff. Not too much of a fan of Glasses Malone, but I like this track.
