Gorillaz

Word got out that Mos Def was in London, and the fact that he was at the Jools Holland Show, you figured he might do a collaboration with Gorillaz. I wonder what happened to Del…

Max has done Jaydiohead and has now mixed 10 Mos Def tracks over some reggae dub. It sounds pretty dope. Download it or listen:

I didn’t have my iPhone accessible at the time, but I was at this concert and Mos Def was ripping the show. All of a sudden Talib came up and they did a verse or two. Then Jay Electronica came up and spit his thing. Then all of a sudden he summons Diddy. I didn’t even see him in the crowd, but he came up and the crowd went fucking bananaz. The ushers asked for no recording, but apparently madd people were recording. This take is high-def from MissInfo blog. Enjoy

Damn. You know there are all types of empirical things that are going to happen once these guys get momentum with this track.

Excuse me people of the field; It looks like he’s back. Need I say anymore? Look, Listen… Future Emcees, grab out the pad and pen and take notes.

The video quality is alright, but the live band in the back is serious business.

I can sense some flavor that’ll creep into your ears and make you real happy. Are you kidding me? This track is bananas. This record is crack. This shit is a must have. “Your green grass is green, our green grass is brown. “No space in the budget for a cake”. “The windows on the ave look like sad eyes”
