The Roots are about to step out and go on tour again. This is their 10th album, and they will pop it off by setting foot in Decatur, Illinois on March 29th, 2008. The group is going to launch the album on April 29th, 2008 and claim it to be their most political album to date; as quoted, "This is probably our most political album to date dealing with addiction, nihilism, hypocritical double standards in the prison system and overall life in Philadelphia". With tracks such as Birth Day girl, the album seems to be very promising. We all know what to expect. Real organic music, great vibes, and as always… A message.

There will be a bunch of premium guests: Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli, Saigon, Dice Raw, and others.
